  1. HOW TO USE THE CATALYST CDWARE INTERFACE ON SOLARIS 2.X

  4. There are four distinct areas in the Catalyst CDware
  5. front-end: 
  6.  
  7.     -  General Icons (Upper Left)
  8.     -  View Selector (Middle Left)
  9.     -  Filters Icons (Lower Left)
  10.     -  Product Icons (Right Side)
  11.             
  12. To select a product, click on any of the product icons 
  13. in the Product Icons Area.  A Product Options (described
  14. later) box will appear and offer you several choices in
  15. examining the product.

  17. You may narrow your search for a particular product by 
  18. using the Filters Icons (described later) or by using 
  19. the View Selector.
  20.  
  21. The View Selector will allow you to narrow your search
  22. by either Category, Company, or Product.  Note that the 
  23. View Selector defaults to "All".  You can narrow your 
  24. search for a particular product by clicking on any set 
  25. of entries in the list box of the View Selector. The
  26. Product Icons Area on the right side will reflect any
  27. entry/entries which you have selected by displaying only
  28. those product icons pertainent to your selections.  Be
  29. sure click "All" in the list box if you wish to see all
  30. product icons displayed again.
